We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to define and deliver the next generation of Bloomberg Company Financials applications and connect our trusted financial data to Bloomberg’s AI-powered search, answer, and workflow experience.

You will own the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for Company Financials front-end applications and the shared front-end capabilities that support them. You will work directly with front-end Engineering and partner with Bloomberg’s central AI Product and Engineering teams to identify, design, and launch high-value financial-analysis workflows.

The role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, client workflow design, structured data, application development, and AI. You will determine where AI can materially improve an analyst’s workflow, what financial data and context it needs, how outputs should be grounded and evaluated, and how users should move between structured applications and AI-assisted experiences.

You will work across Company Financials datasets and collaborate closely with the Product Managers responsible for those data products. Your goal will be to create a coherent front-end experience rather than a collection of disconnected applications, while ensuring individual workflows retain the depth and precision required by financial professionals.

This role is well suited to someone who combines strong product judgment with practical knowledge of company financial analysis. You should be comfortable engaging credibly with financial professionals, data specialists, UX designers, and engineers, challenging assumptions, and making informed trade-offs without needing to write production code.

  • Define and communicate the multi-year product vision and roadmap for Company Financials applications and shared front-end capabilities.
  • Own prioritization for the front-end Engineering team, balancing new client workflows, platform investment, existing application health, mandatory migrations, and operational resilience.
  • Conduct structured discovery with clients and internal users, identifying workflow problems that are valuable, frequent, and appropriate for Bloomberg to solve.
  • Translate client needs into clear product outcomes, requirements, priorities, and measurable success criteria.
  • Partner with Bloomberg’s central AI Product and Engineering teams to integrate Company Financials data into Bloomberg’s AI-powered search, answer, and workflow experience.
  • Determine what structured data, metadata, context, history, and provenance an AI-enabled workflow requires to provide useful and trustworthy results.
  • Define expectations for answer quality, grounding, citations, explainability, ambiguity handling, failure states, and evaluation of company financials data within Bloomberg's AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers in the team to ensure their product strategies are represented coherently in Bloomberg’s applications.
  • Define launch and adoption plans, ensuring new capabilities become part of clients’ established workflows.
  • Measure product performance through indicators such as adoption, workflow completion, time saved, answer quality, client trust, reliability, and cost to serve.
  • Communicate product strategy, progress, decisions, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

You’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years of product-management experience, including responsibility for complex user-facing, enterprise, data, or workflow products.
  • A practical understanding of how AI-enabled products use data and context, including concepts such as grounding, retrieval, evaluation, reliability, provenance, and failure handling.
  • Experience balancing the needs of specific user workflows with the development of reusable product or platform capabilities.
  • The technical fluency to engage credibly in discussions about front-end architecture, data dependencies, system integration, scalability, and AI product trade-offs.
  • Proven experience operating in complex, cross-functional environments involving Product, Data, Engineering, AI, and domain specialists.
  • Comfort operating under ambiguity and creating structure where scope, ownership, or success criteria are still evolving.

We’d love to see:

  • Hands‑on experience analyzing companies or building and maintaining company financial models.
  • Experience developing products for equity analysts, credit analysts, portfolio managers, investment bankers, or other financially sophisticated users.
  • Experience with AI‑enabled search, answer, research, or multi‑step workflow products that depend on trusted structured data.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; CFA or an equivalent financial qualification is a plus.

If indicated, please note that years of experience are a guide; we will consider applications from all candidates who can demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.
