Bloomberg’s Portfolio & Risk Analytics business delivers some of the industry's most sophisticated risk management, valuation, and investment analytics solutions to leading asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, and sovereign institutions around the world. Built on Bloomberg’s market-leading pricing engines, derivative libraries, and data infrastructure, our solutions help investment professionals value complex instruments, measure market and counterparty risk, streamline enterprise workflows, and make better portfolio decisions in real time. As buy-side firms face increasing pressure to manage risk across more asset classes, larger data sets, and increasingly complex investment strategies, Bloomberg is uniquely positioned to provide an integrated, enterprise-wide solution spanning portfolio analytics, risk management, valuation, and investment workflows.
What’s the Role?
We are seeking a commercially driven Enterprise Sales Specialist to lead new business growth across the UK market. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle: identifying prospects, navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, and closing strategic deals with senior decision-makers. You will position Bloomberg’s portfolio analytics and multi-asset risk solutions across a broad spectrum of buy-side investment workflows. You will articulate our capabilities across risk modeling, performance attribution, asset-liability management (ALM / LDI), private market asset integration, and modern data architecture.
We’ll Trust You To:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing enterprise sales opportunities across the UK buy-side landscape.
- Build executive-level relationships with Chief Investment Officers, Chief Risk Officers, Heads of Asset Allocation, and Senior Portfolio Managers.
- Demonstrate Bloomberg’s enterprise value across diverse investment strategies, including multi-asset factor risk, LDI/ALM, credit and liquidity risk, and private markets.
- Partner with Pre-Sales Specialists, Relationship Managers, Product, and Core Sales teams to position holistic solutions across the investment management lifecycle.
- Manage a structured sales pipeline, lead enterprise contract negotiations, and consistently deliver against key commercial goals.
You’ll Need To Have:
- Proven track record of enterprise sales success selling portfolio analytics, multi-asset risk, or financial technology solutions into institutional buy-side firms.
- Deep domain expertise in portfolio management, multi-factor risk models, performance attribution, and cross-asset valuation methodologies.
- Strong familiarity with modern institutional investment workflows, including active asset management, asset-liability management (ALM), LDI frameworks, and private market asset integration.
- A strong commercial mindset with demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and negotiate C-suite transactions.
- Knowledge of the UK landscape and market trends affecting both asset managers and asset owners.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
If this sounds like you: If indicated, please note that years of experience are a guide; we will consider applications from all candidates who can demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.
