Bloomberg TV is looking for an experienced Line Producer for a 9-month maternity cover contract. The position is based in our London bureau.
You will be responsible for outputting one of our live morning programs. You must have demonstrated skills in TV news production including planning, writing, copy-editing, creating graphics/videos, and handling the pressure of breaking news. You must be able to embrace challenges, make split-second decisions and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
We'll trust you to:
- Build and manage live show rundowns with accuracy and clarity that reflect Bloomberg's editorial priorities
- Confidently output live shows from the control room, make fast decisions in a high-pressure, breaking news environment
- Write scripts, commission graphics and produce other visual elements to support storytelling
- Coordinate with anchors/reporters, producers, control room and field teams to execute seamless broadcasts
- Work closely with Senior and Executive Producers
You'll need to have:
- At least three years experience in a similar role
- Organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- An ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Flexibility to work early mornings
- A good grasp of financial markets and Bloomberg's core coverage areas is strongly preferred.
