The energy of a newsroom, the pace of a trading floor, the buzz of a recent tech breakthrough; we work hard, and we work fast - while keeping up the quality and accuracy we're known for. It's what keeps us inventing and reinventing, all the time. Our culture is wide open, just like our spaces. We bring out the best in each other through collaboration. Through our countless volunteer projects, we also help network with the communities around us, too. You can do amazing work here. Work you couldn't do anywhere else. It's up to you to make it happen.

What’s the role? The Inclusion Center of Excellence (COE) sets the enterprise direction, standards, and capabilities for Inclusion and Accessibility at Bloomberg. We ensure Inclusion and Accessibility are built into how we operate — across policies, processes, tools, and employee experiences. As the Global Accessibility Lead, you will own and evolve Bloomberg’s Accessibility strategy and operating model. In the near term, this role is focused on identifying needs, driving delivery, and improving execution across the organization. Over time, you will position yourself as Bloomberg’s subject matter expert in Accessibility — shaping direction, influencing decisions, and ensuring we continue to raise the bar. You will partner across HR, Workplace Operations, Facilities, Engineering, Legal, and other stakeholders to remove barriers and embed Accessibility into core systems and workflows. This is a global role that requires strong collaboration, sound judgment, and a clear employee experience mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution and evolve the space: Identify current gaps and priority areas across employee and guest experiences. Deliver practical improvements in the short term while building a longer-term roadmap. Continuously evolve our approach based on feedback, trends, and emerging best practices. Ensure Accessibility is embedded into core processes, not treated as a separate initiative.
  • Improve employee and guest experience: Partner with HR and other key stakeholders to improve Accessibility-related workflows (e.g., accommodations, onboarding, mobility, return-to-work). Work closely with Workplace Operations and Facilities to enhance physical and digital accessibility. Identify friction points and simplify processes. Ensure changes improve the experience for employees and guests in real, tangible ways.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration: Serve as the central point of contact for Accessibility across HR, Workplace, Legal, and other stakeholders. Clarify ownership, roles, and accountability across regions. Build strong working relationships to drive alignment and shared accountability. Escalate risks or gaps and recommend practical solutions.
  • Use data and feedback to guide decisions: Leverage internal reporting and trends to identify gaps and improvement areas. Track adoption and effectiveness of Accessibility-related changes. Present insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership. Use feedback and data to refine and improve delivery.
  • Bring external perspective and expertise: Identify and assess external best practices, benchmarks, and vendors. Own relationships with key Accessibility vendors and partners. Ensure external partnerships support business needs and employee experience. Stay informed on evolving standards and position yourself as a trusted subject matter expert in this space.
  • Align with regulatory requirements: Understand global Accessibility regulations and ensure our practices align with applicable requirements. Translate regulatory expectations into clear internal guidance where needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Accessibility, HR strategy, Compliance, Workplace Operations, or a related field.
  • Strong experience improving cross-functional processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Experience partnering across HR, Workplace, Facilities, Engineering, and Legal.
  • Experience evaluating vendors and external partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Clear, direct communication style.
  • Ability to operate independently in a global, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building or evolving Accessibility programs or operating models.
  • Experience in a global, highly regulated organization.
  • Familiarity with digital and physical accessibility standards.
  • Experience using data to drive operational improvements.
  • A strong employee and guest experience mindset.
