What's the role?
As a Portfolio & Risk Analytics Account Manager, you will lead and grow relationships with key buy‐side clients in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will drive revenue growth by identifying and delivering opportunities to expand Bloomberg's Buyside solutions across existing client workflows. Collaborating closely with internal partners, you will ensure successful client onboarding, adoption, and ongoing satisfaction.
We'll trust you to:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, strategic relationships with senior partners, including C‐suite executives. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client objectives and aligning Bloomberg solutions to their strategic goals.
- Strategic Management: Identify and develop commercial strategies tailored to each client to drive revenue growth. Communicate client narratives and strategic opportunities to senior management internally.
- Commercial: Recognize and quantify new revenue opportunities and build actionable sales pipelines. Implement effectively on upselling and cross‐selling Bloomberg's full suite of Portfolio & Risk Analytics products.
- Market Intelligence: Develop comprehensive understanding of the buy‐side industry, client‐specific challenges, and competitive dynamics. Represent Bloomberg at industry conferences, conveying thought leadership and industry insights.
- Cross‐team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including Implementation, Product, and Engineering, to deliver integrated solutions. Advocate for client requirements internally, ensuring alignment with Bloomberg's product development roadmap.
You'll need to have:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial services, fintech, or related industries.
- Consistent record in account management, relationship building, and revenue growth.
- Expertise in buy‐side workflows, portfolio management, performance attribution, and risk analytics.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
- Business fluency in French.
We would love to see:
- CFA, FRM, or CAIA certification.
- Hands‐on experience with Bloomberg Query Language (BQL), Python, or SQL.
- Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD).
