We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and customer-obsessed Client Services Lead to join our Client Services organization in the European region, based in London. This is a senior individual contributor role designed for a proven operator who thrives in complexity, owns the most sophisticated partnerships, and elevates both client outcomes and internal standards. The successful candidate will display a genuine curiosity, positive can-do attitude, ability to effectively and productively collaborate, strength in communication, takes accountability, and lead with a growth mindset.
This role sits at the intersection of executional excellence, strategic advisory, and team mentorship. You will independently lead Bloomberg Media's most complex, custom, and integrated partnerships while acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients and internal stakeholders. You will also serve as an escalation point and mentor for Client Services team members, and as a driver of initiatives that improve how we work, collaborate, and deliver globally.
You'll be viewed by clients as an extension of their team - deeply fluent in their business, industry, and objectives - and by colleagues as a calm, credible leader who brings clarity, rigor, and solutions when frameworks are ambiguous or break down.
The Role at a Glance
- Own and deliver Bloomberg Media's most complex, custom, cross-platform partnerships with a high degree of strategic autonomy and operational excellence.
- Reporting to the Regional Team Leader, this role acts as a senior advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, a mentor and escalation point for Client Services members, and a leader of strategic initiatives that enhance Client Services effectiveness, culture, and focus on commercial partnership renewal and growth.
We'll trust you to:
- Own and lead multiple highly complex, custom, and integrated media partnerships from kick-off through delivery, optimization, and renewal.
- Serve as the primary strategic advisor to senior clients throughout the partnership lifecycle. Support upsell and renewal opportunities through strong delivery and client trust.
- Develop deep understanding of client businesses, industries, audiences, and success metrics. Contribute advanced thinking to QBRs, Vertical Intelligence Briefings, training, templates, and documentation.
- Analyze campaign performance data and business context to deliver actionable insights, optimization recommendations, and future-facing opportunities.
- Build and sustain trusted senior-level client relationships that drive retention, growth, and long-term value whilst elevating internal alignment across Sales, Marketing, Creative, Media, Analytics, Traffic, Social, and Operations to ensure flawless execution.
- Ensure delivery meets strategic intent, timelines, budget, and defined SLAs. Anticipate risks, solve problems proactively, and navigate ambiguity with confidence and clarity.
- Model gold-standard client partnership, communication, and operational excellence. Contribute to raising the bar on team capability, confidence, and strategic thinking.
- Lead or co-lead strategic initiatives that improve Client Services workflows, processes, SLAs, tools, and culture.
- Support Client Services leadership in fostering a culture of excellence, trust, empathy, and ambition.
You'll need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in client services, account management, project leadership, or integrated production within a media or agency environment.
- Proven success leading large-scale, complex, cross-platform media partnerships with international clients and global or regional productions.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate performance data into strategic insight.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Willingness and ability to travel when required.
- Calm, credible, and personable presence, even under pressure and tight deadlines with a growth mindset and a desire to continuously improve both personal performance and team effectiveness.
