Mid/Senior/Lead Product Designer – Turning Data Into Action, At Scale

Stage: Series B

Package: Up to £110,000 salary + bonus + equity

Location: London-based (Liverpool St.), two days a month in the office required - super flexible

If you're a Mid/Senior/Lead Product Designer who loves getting into the detail of complex data problems and wants real ownership over a product area that's already proving its commercial value, this one is worth a conversation.

Bloom are delighted to have been retained with a Series B intelligent management platform used by some of the world's largest enterprise retailers globally. The problem they solve is a big one. Large organisations have always been drowning in data, but that data rarely tells the people on the ground what to actually do with it. This platform flips that on its head, using AI to surface anomalies, benchmark performance across similar locations, and push targeted actions directly to the right person at the right time. The result is measurable performance uplift at scale, and for the first time, real operational visibility for leadership across the entire business.

They're now hiring a Mid/Senior or Lead level Product Designer to own a genuinely exciting growth area, using a unique data set to bring new user personas into the platform and expand their footprint within existing customers. It's a real design ownership opportunity with hard ROI already attached to the core product.

The Role

  • You'll own the design of a strategic product area end to end, focused on turning complex data logic into intuitive user experiences that expand the platform beyond its core user base.
  • Collaborating closely with product, engineering and customer teams to shape solutions that make complex logic feel simple.
  • Running lightweight user research and feedback sessions to ensure design decisions are grounded in real needs.
  • Prototyping, testing and refining ideas with real users before anything goes to build.
  • Establishing and driving the end-to-end design process, maintaining cohesive design patterns, brand identity and quality throughout.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning the design process from initial discovery through to shipped product.
  • Maintaining consistent, high-quality design patterns across a multi-modular enterprise web application.
  • Managing and evolving a Figma-based design system, including versioning, structure and review processes.
  • Using AI prototyping tools (including MCP) to explore and validate ideas faster.
  • Staying close to industry trends and advancements in design tooling.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong track record in building beautifully crafted designs and product (previous B2B/SaaS experience is not needed).
  • Deep understanding of UX and UI and how they work together to create genuinely intuitive products.
  • Solid grasp of web technologies - HTML, CSS, JS, responsive design, SPA vs. SSR — enough to work fluidly with engineers.
  • Proficiency in Figma across project structure, design systems, versioning and design review.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the proactiveness to move things forward without being asked.

Why This Is Worth Your Time

  • A unique data set that no competitor can replicate.
  • Real design ownership with a clear commercial mandate.
  • Series B with serious traction — this isn't a speculative bet.
  • Small, senior team with close access to leadership from day one.
  • Genuine hybrid flexibility.

This isn't a role where you'll be pushing pixels on someone else's vision. It's strategic, data-driven, and high-agency.

If you're the kind of designer who:

  • Thrives in complexity and gets energised by data-rich problems.
  • Wants genuine ownership, not just a seat at the table.
  • Is looking for a product with proven, measurable impact.
