Bloom is building something fundamental. Small and mid-sized businesses run on payments — yet the systems behind them are fragmented, manual, and not designed for how modern companies operate. Cash flow, visibility, and control are constant friction points. Finance teams are forced to stitch together tools, processes, and workarounds just to keep things moving. Bloom exists to change that. We are building a modern payments and financial operations platform — simplifying how businesses manage spend, move money, and operate day to day.
This means:
- Bringing payments, approvals, and financial workflows into one place
- Removing manual processes and operational drag
- Giving businesses real control over how money moves
We are early, moving fast, and building with ambition. The goal is not incremental improvement. Bloom is building a category-defining fintech business with a clear path to scale.
The Opportunity
Bloom is entering its next phase of growth. We are moving from early traction to building a repeatable, scalable growth engine. This requires more than campaigns or channels. It requires a marketing function that drives real commercial outcomes — pipeline, revenue, and brand position — and compounds over time. We are hiring a Head of Marketing to build and own that engine. This is a central, high-impact role working directly with the founders. Done well, this role will define how Bloom grows.
What You Will Own
- Building the Growth Engine
You will design and build Bloom’s marketing function from the ground up. This includes:
- Defining positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
- Building acquisition across paid, organic, and outbound
- Creating a system that consistently generates qualified pipeline
The goal is not activity. The goal is a repeatable engine that drives revenue.
- Turning Strategy into Execution
Marketing strategies often fail in execution. You will ensure ideas translate into live campaigns, tests, and results. This means:
- Testing aggressively
- Iterating based on real data
You will operate with pace and ownership.
- Driving Pipeline and Commercial Impact
You will own marketing’s contribution to revenue. This includes:
You will work closely with sales to ensure:
- Strong alignment between marketing and revenue
- Clear feedback loops
- Continuous improvement across the funnel
- Building Brand and Category Position
Bloom is not just competing — we are defining a category. You will:
- Shape how we are perceived in the market
- Build a brand that stands out in a crowded fintech space
- Create clear, differentiated messaging
This is about long-term positioning as much as short-term performance.
- Scaling the Function
As Bloom grows, you will build and lead the marketing team. This includes:
- Defining roles and structure
- Creating systems that scale without slowing down
You will build a function that maintains speed, clarity, and output as complexity increases.
Who You Are
Values
- High ambition and comfortable operating at pace
- Strong ownership mentality — you move toward problems
- Low ego, team-first mindset
- Motivated by building something meaningful
How You Operate
- You bias to action
- You are comfortable in ambiguity
- You focus on outcomes, not activity
- You influence through clarity and context
- You hold a high bar for execution
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience driving pipeline and revenue through marketing
- Strong understanding of:
- Paid acquisition (LinkedIn, Meta, Google)
- Funnels, conversion, and messaging
- B2B growth mechanics
We are open to candidates stepping into their first Head of role, provided there is clear evidence of ownership and impact.
Why This Role Matters
This is not a channel management role. This is a role for someone who wants to:
- Build the marketing engine of a fintech company
- Shape how the company grows
- Have direct impact on revenue and trajectory
If you are excited by ownership, pace, and building something from the ground up, this is a rare opportunity to do exactly that.
