Founding Product Designer – Stealth AI Startup (London)
Bloom is partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed AI native startup to help them hire a Founding Product Designer. This team is building a world-class consumer product, with design at the very heart of the journey. Backed by top-tier investors and growing fast, they’re building technology that fundamentally changes how people discover and operate in this market.
This is a true founding design role with high ownership, real influence, and the chance to shape not just the product, but the design function itself from day one. The company is one of the fastest-growing startups in the UK, having raised £3m at pre-seed from an exceptional group of investors, with a seed round announcement coming soon. You’ll be helping to build an AI-first product at the forefront of a category that’s wide open for disruption.
As the Founding Product Designer, you’ll own design end-to-end:
- Visual language & brand expression
- Testing ideas early through prototypes, landing pages, and experiments before committing engineering effort
- Design → engineering collaboration: Working closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented to a high standard and shipped with pace
- Iteration through data
You should be a product thinker first, visual designer second, highly empathetic, and motivated by building tools that genuinely help people. You will want to build something from the ground up and shape the design culture as well as the output.
