You’ll be joining the engine room of Bloom & Wild’s fastest-growing categories. While known for flowers, our Procurement team provides the operational and supply‑chain foundation for our non‑horticultural range—from fresh‑baked treats to packaging. Our team is divided into Strategic Procurement and Stock Planning. As Stock Planning Lead you will report to the Head of Procurement & Inventory, acting as the architect of the operational procurement function and building scalable systems.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build & scale the stock‑planning function, setting a vision to turn rapid growth into a sophisticated, high‑performing operational machine.
- Master stock availability by leading a team to maintain optimal stock levels across all sites, balancing availability with minimising waste and holding costs.
- Develop and automate supply‑chain and inventory tools, building AI workflows to eliminate manual data entry and calculation tasks.
- Lead process & KPI development, creating standardised processes and frameworks and conducting weekly KPI reviews to shift from reactive problem‑solving to proactive inventory and risk management.
- Transform and develop the team, coaching and mentoring stock planners to move from manual execution to analytical decision‑making, and building succession and resilience.
- Support strategic growth & inventory control by de‑risking new range launches, collaborating with the commercial team to right‑size inventory, and managing third‑party relationships for excess stock.
- Provide operational execution support during peak times and when issues arise.
- Manage 3PW performance by measuring and maintaining SLA terms.
- Build supplier performance reporting, tiering, and initiatives to improve operational performance.

- Have 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or supply planning, including leading a team.
- Demonstrated capability in scaling supply chain operations, managing exponential growth of SKUs with technology and automation.
- Are tech‑savvy and systems‑oriented, building automated tools using G‑suite and other platforms, and leveraging AI to increase impact.
- Are a strong leader and mentor, fostering a performance culture centred on accountability and ownership of results.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset, identifying system limitations and establishing feedback loops to resolve and automate them.
- Are proactive and hands‑on, willing to contribute directly to enable scale during peak periods or gaps.
- Are commercially and data‑driven.
- Are motivated to protect margins, eliminate P&L leakage, and right‑size inventory to optimise working capital and cash flow.
