The role and ways of working
We’re looking for a Supply & Demand Manager to support our Forecasting team for 3 months this summer. Reporting to our Head of Supply & Demand, you will help with short term forecasting across all B&W and bloomon markets, covering product categories such as Flowers, Plants and gifting.
What you’ll be doing...
- Supply & Demand Forecasting: Generate weekly forecasts by gathering and aligning inputs from multiple stakeholders. Conduct analysis to accurately project volume requirements across all product categories, aiming to meet customer demand and maximise next-day product availability. Critically evaluate forecast outputs prior to sharing them with the wider team for review and decision-making. Ensure clear and consistent communication of forecasts to suppliers and internal stakeholders to align planning across the business.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the Forecasting team in automating forecasting processes across all markets. Use data insights and business knowledge to develop and implement improved forecasting tools, templates, and processes. Drive standardisation, scalability, and efficiency in forecasting practices to support local market needs and long-term business growth.
You’ll love this role if you have...
- 2 -3 years of experience in an analytical role within a business or industry setting
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong modelling and analytical abilities, developed through in-house experience or a STEM academic background
- A collaborative approach, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic attitude and a positive mindset
- Availability to work from our London office (Vauxhall) two days a week
These are some of the skills and experience we think will enable success in this role, but please don’t worry if you are missing some of these. We’re committed to building a team made up of different strengths, skills and experiences, so if you’re excited about our values, passionate about what you do and would like to join us in doing things more thoughtfully, we’d love to hear from you.
