Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand real‑world needs and translate them into working software.
- Build and improve internal tools using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
- Make iterative improvements to our monolith while contributing to new features that support our expanding product range.
- Write clear, tested, secure, and maintainable code; participate in code reviews to ensure high‑quality solutions.
- Explore new ideas and opportunities to improve the monolith and development workflows.
- Shape technical decisions by sharing ideas and contributing to discussions about architecture, tooling, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the squad to deliver work in small, valuable increments using agile practices and modern tooling.
- Monitor, debug, and improve system performance with observability tools.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of Ruby development experience in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with RESTful APIs.
