Hi, we’re Bloom & Wild. We don’t just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly. Caring wildly is celebrating the little things we all do for each other every day. Not just the big occasions. It’s being there for the highs. Stepping up for the lows. We care wildly about people and our planet. Which is why we’re so proud to be a certified B Corp™ – committed to making long-term positive change for our community, and the world around us.
Founded in 2013, our mission back then was to make sending and receiving flowers the joy that it should be, by harnessing technology, brand and letterbox delivery. We announced £75 million Series D funding in 2021 and that same year acquired bloomon in The Netherlands and Bergamotte in France. Together, we’ve fulfilled and delivered over 20 million orders (and counting!), making us the largest direct to consumer flower business in Europe.
Now home to a family of 3 beautiful brands, we’re driven by our vision to create the destination for making life a little more thoughtful and beautiful. And we won’t stop at flowers and plants. Starting with the Bloom & Wild brand, we’re expanding our gifting offering to other categories like cakes, candles and cocktails. This is all part of our ambition to build Europe’s #1 direct to consumer gifting destination.
The People Team at Bloom & Wild exists to support team members globally through a blend of business partnering and centres of excellence, and we’re proud custodians of the Bloom & Wild Group culture. We put people first and process a close second - designing thoughtful, human experiences that enable high performance and meaningful growth.
As we evolve, we’re reimagining how Talent Acquisition drives impact by embedding AI, strengthening inclusive hiring systems and raising the bar on stakeholder partnership across our core locations UK and Netherlands. This role will report to Alys, our Talent Lead, and will sit within our Talent Acquisition team. We’re looking for someone who can be in our London (Vauxhall) office at least twice a week, collaborating closely with stakeholders and the wider People team.
This isn’t just a delivery role - it’s an opportunity to shape how we hire.
You’ll get to:
- Own end-to-end hiring across our core hiring locations of UK & NL: Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple functions and locations - partnering with senior stakeholders on workforce planning, role scoping, sourcing strategy, structured assessment, offer negotiation and close.
- Partner on Tech & Data roles while operating as a versatile Talent Acquisition leader across the business. You’ll bring experience hiring in the tech space and an understanding of those markets, while remaining comfortable flexing across a range of hires from specialist Tech & Data roles to commercially critical positions across the business.
- Build data-led sourcing: Design structured outbound searches, craft compelling outreach messages and run A/B tests to optimise response rates and pipeline quality.
- Drive AI-enabled hiring innovation: Shape and embed AI-powered sourcing, screening and funnel analytics workflows to improve speed, insight and quality ensuring ethical, human-led decision‑making at all times.
- Elevate hiring manager capability: Strengthen structured interviewing, calibration and inclusive decision‑making through coaching, training and hands‑on partnership.
- Champion best‑in‑class candidate experience: Continuously improve the end‑to‑end journey across UK & NL - ensuring consistency, care and cultural alignment in every interaction.
- Embed inclusive & equitable hiring systems: Integrate DE&I principles into job design, attraction strategy, panel composition and offer decisions adapting thoughtfully across markets.
- Balance pace, quality and commercial thinking: Use data and judgement to make smart trade‑offs - building strong pipelines while protecting hiring standards and long‑term impact.
You’ll love this role if you…
- Likely 3‑5 years’ experience in 360 tech recruiting roles for fast paced and tech‑focused businesses. Some prior experience of working specifically on Ruby, Angular, Python, Platform Engineering, IT or Data Science roles would be advantageous.
- Bring experience partnering with technical and non‑technical stakeholders and enjoy operating as a trusted advisor, not just a delivery partner.
- Are confident experimenting with AI tools and driving measurable impact in hiring outcomes through use of AI ethically and responsibly.
- Stay up to date with modern sourcing methodologies and talent intelligence practices.
- Thrive on building long‑term stakeholder relationships and influencing hiring quality.
- Enjoy hosting or attending external events and engaging talent communities.
- Use data instinctively - you track metrics, spot patterns and use insight to improve outcomes.
- Have a genuine commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and know how to embed this structurally into hiring.
- Are curious, proactive and continuously look for ways to improve systems.
