Hi, we’re Bloom & Wild. We don’t just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly. Caring wildly is celebrating the little things we all do for each other every day. Not just the big occasions. It’s being there for the highs. Stepping up for the lows. We care wildly about people and our planet. Which is why we’re so proud to be a certified B Corp™ – committed to making long‑term positive change for our community, and the world around us.
Founded in 2013, our mission back then was to make sending and receiving flowers the joy that it should be, by harnessing technology, brand and letterbox delivery. We announced £75 million Series D funding in 2021 and that same year acquired bloomon in the Netherlands and Bergamotte in France. Together, we’ve fulfilled and delivered over 20 million orders (and counting!), making us the largest direct to consumer flower business in Europe. Now home to a family of 3 beautiful brands, we’re driven by our vision to create the destination for making life a little more thoughtful and beautiful. And we won’t stop at flowers and plants. Starting with the Bloom & Wild brand, we’re expanding our gifting offering to other categories like cakes, candles and cocktails. This is all part of our ambition to build Europe’s #1 direct to consumer gifting destination.
Finance at Bloom & Wild group is organized around three main teams which are led by our VP of Finance, though we collaborate closely as one function and work with other teams across the business too:
- Financial Control & Reporting – runs all things financial control and reporting, including compilation of month end reporting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable.
- Financial Planning & Analysis – manages our budgeting and forecasting process for the company, together with regular analysis of financial performance. They are also responsible for building financial models for a variety of uses across the company and working closely with other teams to do so.
- Financial Change & Compliance – performs the majority of group functions across our 3 locations including but not limited to PSP and treasury management, controls and compliance and all things tax. They are also responsible for spearheading any process improvements or transformational projects.
The focus of this role will initially be centred on our UK COGs (a maternity cover position), with potential for extension into Group treasury management and central cost ownership. - Assist in preparing the annual budget and ongoing forecasting for UK COGS, working closely with teams across the business to align on metrics (including operations, range & commercial teams).
- Report on weekly and monthly related metrics, including working alongside relevant teams to refine reporting.
- Monthly analysis of month‑end accounts, in particular the detail behind UK gross margin and aiding in presenting financial performance to the business.
- Establish business relationships across the organisation and have clear ownership for areas of responsibility.
- Identify key trends and potential risks and opportunities.
With longer term potential for:
- Ad hoc analysis and model creation. This will include business partnering with relevant stakeholders across the company.
- Treasury management; including short & longer term cash management and detailed cash forecasting.
- Ownership of central costs budgeting, ongoing forecasting and month‑end analysis.
- Project support in the implementation of an FP&A tool and optimising the use of our ERP system Netsuite.
You’ll love this role if you:
- Qualified in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years’ relevant FP&A experience.
- Experience using and optimising Netsuite.
- Have strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with a high attention to detail. In particular a strong proficiency in cashflow modelling.
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of significant areas of work.
- Organised – you take a thoughtful approach to planning and prioritising your work to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excited about problem‑solving, and love to take a logical and collaborative approach to finding solutions and communicating conclusions.
- Enthusiastic, passionate and keen to get stuck in to deliver impactful results.
- You’re a solid team player who truly believes in the value of diverse and inclusive teams.
- You have a collaborative style that enables you to work with a range of different people and teams.

Some of our teams work together in person every day, whereas others may connect in person every quarter. We also believe in flexibility that supports you, the work you do, and your team. How much you work from home and from our office depends on a balance of those needs, and you’ll agree this with your manager. Whether it’s through a shared project, a learning and development opportunity, or an afterwork social – we trust our teams to make the right decisions (for them and us) about where and how they work each day. We’re big on collaboration, empathy, knowledge sharing and growth, and our values drive our priorities every day:
