Procurement Team @ Bloom & Wild Group
You’ll be joining the engine room of Bloom & Wild’s fastest‑growing categories. As the Stock Planning Lead, you will report to the Head of Procurement & Inventory and act as the architect of our operational procurement function, building scalable systems to support rapid growth. Working closely with partners across the business, you will ensure optimal inventory health, high availability and rapid range expansion.
What you’ll be doing
- Build & Scale the Function – design and own our non‑horticultural stock‑planning strategy from scratch, creating a sophisticated, high‑performing operational machine that turns rapid business growth into scalable processes.
- Master Stock Availability – lead the team to maintain optimal stock levels across all sites, balancing high availability with minimised waste and holding costs while coordinating with Warehouse teams and Strategic Procurement Managers.
- Develop & Automate – build scalable, custom automated supply‑chain and inventory tools, develop AI workflows and map the transition to long‑term, robust systems.
- Process & KPI Leadership – establish standardised processes and frameworks, lead weekly KPI reviews, drive the function from reactive problem‑solving to proactive inventory and risk management.
- Team Transformation & Development – coach, mentor and develop a team of stock planners, nurturing analytical decision‑making and building internal succession and resilience.
- Strategic Growth & Inventory Control – de‑risk new range launches by ensuring mature operational infrastructure, collaborate with commercial teams on right‑size inventory, de‑risk peak periods and manage excess stock through third‑party relationships.
- Operational Execution – support planning and execution when needed to ensure continuity, especially during issues or peak times.
- 3PW Performance Management – measure and manage the performance of our 3 – Person – Warehouse partner against agreed SLA terms.
- Supplier Performance – build internal performance reporting, tier suppliers and implement initiatives to improve operational supplier performance.
You’ll love this role if you
- Have 5+ years experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or supply planning, leading a team.
- Show a proven track record in scaling supply chain with exponential SKU growth, using technology and automation.
- Are tech‑savvy and systems‑oriented, with strong capabilities building automated tools using Google‑Suite and leveraging AI.
- Are a strong leader and mentor, excelling at coaching, fostering a performance culture focused on accountability and ownership.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset, adept at identifying system limitations and establishing feedback loops.
- Are proactive and hands‑on, willing to contribute directly to enable scale and support during peak periods.
- Are commercially and data‑driven, motivated by protecting margins and eliminating P&L leakage through right‑size inventory.
