We are partnering with a prestigious luxury womenswear brand to recruit an experienced Senior Product Developer to join their growing Product Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced product developer who thrives within a fast-paced luxury environment and enjoys bringing beautifully crafted collections to life. Working closely with Design, Technical, Production, Suppliers and Manufacturers, you will manage the development process from initial design launch through to production handover, ensuring exceptional quality, fit, craftsmanship and commercial viability across every collection.
You will play a key role in driving seasonal collections, supporting the Head of Product Development and helping to deliver iconic core collections, seasonal capsules and exclusive projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end development of luxury womenswear collections across multiple product categories.
- Create, maintain and update detailed Tech Packs, Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product specifications.
- Attend design launches, fabric development meetings, technical fittings and production handovers.
- Work closely with Design to ensure creative vision is translated into commercially viable products without compromising quality or craftsmanship.
- Manage the critical path throughout development, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor sample development with both the in-house atelier and international manufacturing partners.
- Liaise daily with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams to resolve technical and production challenges.
- Identify innovative fabrics, trims, finishes and manufacturing techniques that elevate the collection.
- Ensure all counter samples, testing and approvals are completed prior to production.
- Source new suppliers and specialist manufacturers where required.
- Build strong long-term relationships with factories and suppliers across Europe and internationally.
- Drive product excellence through fit sessions and garment development meetings.
- Ensure construction methods, finishing techniques and quality standards meet luxury expectations.
- Work closely with Technical and Production teams to facilitate a seamless transition into bulk production.
- Anticipate manufacturing challenges early and propose practical solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Support continuous improvements across product development processes and systems.
- Work alongside Production and Sourcing teams to obtain accurate supplier costings.
- Monitor development costs, margins and manufacturing feasibility throughout the collection.
- Ensure BOMs and product information are accurately maintained within the PLM system.
- Assist with seasonal pricing reviews and cost engineering where appropriate.
- 5–8+ years' experience within luxury or premium fashion product development.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, luxury manufacturing techniques and product development processes.
- Experience working across both Fully Factored and CMT production.
- Excellent understanding of critical path management, product costing and production feasibility.
- Experience working closely with European and international factories and suppliers.
- Confident leading fit sessions and communicating technical comments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple collections simultaneously.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and highly collaborative.
- Experience using PLM systems, Microsoft Office and Excel.
You will be passionate about luxury product development and have exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to balance creativity, technical excellence and commercial awareness. You will enjoy working collaboratively across Design, Technical, Production and Supply Chain teams, taking ownership of the product development process and delivering beautifully crafted collections to the highest standards.
