We have partnered with a beautiful luxury fashion brand who require an experienced PD/Production Manager to deliver luxury garments with the trims, fabrication, fit and quality expected of this brand.
Knowledge of European and British manufacturing for womenswear garments, using varied fabrications is required, ideally with experience in embroideries, embellishment and trims. Strong luxury garment construction knowledge is required, as you will be conversing with the small Atelier.
Key responsibilities:- Manage the critical path
- Manage factories pre-empting and garment construction issues
- Ensure all fit notes, tech packs and specs are accurate and submitted to the factory
- Ensure the current factory is selected to produce each garment
- Advise on trend, styling, fabrication, fit and trims
- Troubleshoot any issues within production or product styles
- Manage relationships with current factories and mills
- Fit garment alongside Pattern cutter and design to ensure design vision is executed through the product
- Partner with the design team on a daily basis
- Price negotiate the collection with the factories
- Ensure the team and CD are updated throughout the process
- Support across material sourcing and research
- Ensure lead times are being met
- Ensure delivery of materials to the production team and finished goods to stockists
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience within production ideally within a luxury womenswear brand
- Display a strong understanding of sustainable policies
- Have factory relationships across Europe
- Strong critical path and negotiation skills
- Be a strong team player with good communication skills
- Have a minimum BA Hons level degree
