We have partnered with a small, but rapidly growing streetwear brand who is looking for an Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth operations of all areas of this streetwear brand's HQ. Our client is looking for a candidate who lives and breathes E-commerce and streetwear, with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive sales and efficient processes and procedures internally. You will coordinate between design, product, supply chain, marketing, PR, customer service and warehouse, to ensure a clear brand message and product of exceptional finish that is exciting and represents this entrepreneurial brand's ethos. The successful candidate must have a fashion background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the critical paths and track deliveries, pre-empting issues
- Coordinate between design and product teams
- Oversee resource management
- Arrange all required travel across the team
- Work closely with designers and PD to ensure that they deliver all design information on time for development
- Strong costing negotiation skills
- Experience of liaising with factories and negotiating prices
- Experience of being involved with collaborations is a bonus
- Be a clear point of communication between brand owners and staff
- Ensure all facilities requirements for the studio such as equipment etc. are ordered and available
- Collate ad hoc reports
- Act as recorder in all meetings, responsible for debrief and sharing notes with all relevant departments
- Oversee and collaborate with all areas of the business
- Experience at delivering ad hoc projects
- Experience of being agile and reacting efficiently to a changing market
Key Attributes and Experience:
- Experience within a similar role within streetwear
- Previous experience of coordinating between teams and executing projects in a timely fashion
- Effective relationship management and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to partner with creative teams to ensure milestones on the critical path are met
- Understanding of E-commerce, PR & Social; experience of Shopify would be beneficial
- In-depth understanding of youth market, fashion & culture
- Ability to plan, multi-task and work under pressure
- Highly results driven
- Exceptional organisational, administrative and troubleshooting skills
