Our client, a well-loved high street E-commerce fashion brand known for standout prints with a feel-good aesthetic, requires a Senior Fashion Designer. Within this role, you will lead the creative development of collections from concept through to final product, working closely with the wider design, buying, merchandising, and production teams. You'll play a key role in evolving the brand aesthetic while ensuring collections remain commercially successful, inclusive, and exciting for a growing international customer base. YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Leading the design and development of seasonal collections across multiple product categories.
  • Driving creative direction with fresh ideas, elevated design thinking, and a strong understanding of the contemporary fashion market.
  • Identifying and translating emerging trends, customer insights, and market opportunities into commercially successful collections.
  • Creating detailed CADs, tech packs, print and embroidery concepts, and design specifications for suppliers.
  • Owning the design process from initial concept through to fittings, sampling, and final sign-off.
  • Planning design and development trips to support range building.
  • Collaborating closely with buying, merchandising, garment tech, and production teams to ensure products are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
  • Working directly with factories and suppliers to develop fabrics, trims, silhouettes, and new product innovations.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the design team, helping to foster a collaborative and inspiring creative environment.
  • Ensuring collections align with business strategy, growth plans, and customer demand.
  • Contributing to the ongoing evolution of the brand by bringing fresh ideas, inspiration, and energy to the team.
  • Maintaining awareness of competitor activity, market shifts, and international fashion trends.
  • Supporting campaign and content teams with styling direction and collection storytelling where required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • A highly creative and commercially aware Senior Fashion Designer with significant experience within a contemporary fashion brand or retailer.
  • Someone who understands the modern womenswear customer and can design product that inspires confidence, versatility, and individuality.
  • Strong experience designing across womenswear, with a keen eye for print, colour, silhouette, and detail.
  • An agile designer who is used to having to adapt and react quickly to an ever-changing market.
  • A proven track record of delivering commercially successful collections in a fast-moving fashion environment.
  • Exceptional trend forecasting skills with the ability to translate ideas into product with speed and clarity.
  • Strong technical knowledge including CAD design, garment construction, fabric development, and fit awareness.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and suppliers.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excitement for growth and change.
  • Natural leadership skills with the confidence to take ownership and influence creatively.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Passionate about fashion, storytelling, and creating product that makes women feel confident and empowered.
  • Advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and managing the product development process is highly desirable.
