We have partnered with an iconic streetwear brand that is looking for a designer to develop a womenswear collection with direction and working in collaboration with the Creative Director. The position will support the CD across design as well as providing technical packs for the supplier base.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the CD on new and exclusive design ideas
- Lease with wider design team executing the vision of the creative director
- Work across exclusive and confidential partnership projects
- Exercise strong CAD skills
- Partner with production, marketing and the supplier base
- Agile and able to react to design concepts and collaborations with speed
- Good fabric knowledge and a love of trims and detailing
- Attend relevant meetings with CD
- Take notes across design meetings where required
The ideal candidate will have design experience within womenswear, athleisurewear or streetwear, indepth culture and trend knowledge, excellent CAD skills, and good garment construction and tech pack experience.
