We are partnering with a globally recognised couture house to appoint an Accessories & Shoe Designer, as they expand into an exciting new product vertical focused on luxury occasionwear accessories, including stiletto shoes and boots, hats, hair pieces, jewellery, and bags. This brand is synonymous with Luxury RTW & Couture — defined by sculptural silhouettes, refined femininity, and exceptional craftsmanship. Their collections balance romantic softness with architectural precision, elevated through intricate embellishment, luxurious fabrications, and a red-carpet level of finish.
As the business evolves, they are investing in bags and footwear designed specifically for the occasionwear market—pieces that complement statement dressing, from evening events to red-carpet moments. While the brand has previously explored this category with strong success, this role will be instrumental in elevating and defining a cohesive, world-class accessories offering.
The Role
You will lead the design and development of occasion-led bags and footwear, translating the house’s couture DNA into highly elevated, statement accessories. This will initially be a standalone role, acting as both Designer and Product Developer for the category. You will work closely with the Creative Director, with support from the RTW and Couture PD teams, but will need to be a self-starter, comfortable building and developing the range in a highly hands-on way. As the category grows, there is clear scope to build out a dedicated team around this function.
