We are seeking a Garment Technologist with experience in Plus size or Curve Lingerie, swimwear and nightwear. You will ensure exceptional fit, comfort and quality across lingerie and sleepwear, with proven expertise in fitting fuller-bust and plus-size lingerie.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all garment technology stages—from early design samples to production sealers—ensuring deadlines are met.
- Partner with Design to translate concepts into manufacturable garments, advising on construction, fabric and component choices.
- Lead fit sessions for fuller-bust and plus-size lingerie, ensuring consistency, comfort and high performance across all styles.
- Create and maintain accurate technical packs, size specifications and grading requirements.
- Source and evaluate fabrics and trims, manage testing, and uphold quality standards.
- Communicate technical requirements to suppliers, resolve issues and uphold quality and compliance expectations.
- Manage critical path timelines with Design and Buying to ensure on-time product delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments throughout development and ensure products meet international safety and compliance standards.
- Continuously improve fit and quality based on customer feedback and performance data.
Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years’ experience in lingerie garment technology, with strong fuller-bust / plus-size fitting expertise.
- Deep knowledge of lingerie construction, pattern cutting, fabrics, grading and manufacturing.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with Far East manufacturers.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Positive, collaborative and highly self-motivated.
- Able to prioritise effectively and take full ownership of tasks.
