IMMEDIATE START -ROLLING FTC
We are working with an exciting, boundary-pushing luxury fashion brand known for its bold creative identity, strong cultural influence and distinctive approach to contemporary fashion.
They are looking for an experienced Sample Room Manager or Coordinator to oversee the smooth running of their London atelier and support the delivery of collections from initial development through to final samples.
You will work closely with the Design, Pattern Cutting, Product Development and Production teams to ensure every sample is completed on time and to the highest possible standard.
Key responsibilities will include:
β’ Managing the day-to-day running and workflow of the sample room
β’ Coordinating machinists, pattern cutters and freelance atelier specialists
β’ Prioritising samples in line with the collection and production critical path
β’ Attending fittings and ensuring all amendments are clearly communicated
β’ Monitoring garment construction, finishing and overall sample quality
β’ Liaising with designers, developers, suppliers and external factories
β’ Managing fabrics, trims and components required for sampling
β’ Identifying potential delays and resolving problems quickly
β’ Ensuring the atelier remains organised, efficient and deadline-focused
β’ Supporting showpieces, special projects, VIP requests and press samples when required
The ideal candidate will have previous sample room or atelier experience within a contemporary, designer or luxury fashion brand. You will understand garment construction and finishing, be confident managing multiple priorities and remain calm within a fast-paced, highly creative environment.
You will be naturally organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with excellent communication skills and a genuine appreciation for directional, culturally relevant fashion.
