We are partnering with an emerging luxury fashion brand to recruit a Product Development & Production Manager. This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for translating the Creative Director's vision into commercially viable, exceptionally executed collections while maintaining the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship and luxury product integrity.
Working closely with Design, Merchandising and Supply Chain teams, you will manage the product development and production process from concept through to final delivery, building strong relationships with European factories, manufacturers and mills to ensure collections are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
- Lead the end-to-end product development and production process across ready-to-wear and accessories categories; menswear experience is beneficial.
- Partner closely with the Creative Director and Design team to translate creative concepts into beautifully executed products.
- Manage seasonal development calendars, critical paths and production timelines.
- Attend and lead fit sessions, providing technical and commercial input to ensure garments achieve the desired fit, quality and aesthetic.
- Drive the execution of the Creative Director's vision whilst balancing quality, construction, feasibility and margin requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, minimums and production terms while maintaining product integrity.
- Oversee prototype, SMS and production approval processes.
- Collaborate with factories to resolve technical and production challenges.
- Ensure all products meet luxury quality standards and brand expectations.
- Monitor production progress and proactively manage risks, delays and delivery timelines.
- Partner cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, Operations and Logistics teams to ensure successful product launches.
Proven experience within Product Development and Production Management for a luxury or premium fashion brand. Strong experience managing luxury ready-to-wear collections from concept through to production. Established network of European factories, manufacturers and fabric mills. Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, fit and manufacturing processes. Excellent negotiation, project management and stakeholder management skills. Passionate about creating outstanding products and bringing creative visions to life. Confident working directly with Creative Directors and Design leadership. Solutions-oriented with the ability to balance creativity, quality and commercial objectives.
