Senior Designer – Luxury RTW

A leading luxury ready-to-wear house is seeking a highly skilled WW Senior Designer to join its creative studio. Working in close partnership with the Creative Director, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering exceptional seasonal collections that embody the brand’s aesthetic, craftsmanship and vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates closely with the Creative Director to develop innovative, refined concepts that remain true to the house’s DNA.
• Leads the full design process from initial research, sketching and fabric development through to final product.
• Works hand-in-hand with the atelier, ensuring ideas are translated into impeccably crafted garments with precision, proportion and finish.
• Drives design development across womenswear RTW, presenting clear concepts, mood boards and design packages.
• Oversees fittings, prototypes and sampling, providing clear feedback to pattern cutters, machinists and ateliers.
• Researches luxury markets, emerging trends, materials and techniques, bringing a classic yet forward-thinking handwriting.
• Partners cross-functionally with Product Development, Fabric, Merchandising and Technical teams to ensure smooth collection execution.
• Supports the Creative Director in preparing for presentations, runways and collection sign-offs.
• Mentors more junior designers within the team, providing guidance and support where needed.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience at Senior Designer level within a luxury womenswear RTW house.
• A distinct design handwriting that blends timeless elegance with modern innovation.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, textiles, silhouette and proportion.
• Strong experience collaborating with ateliers, pattern teams and technical specialists.
• Highly organised, detail-driven and able to manage multiple workstreams from concept through to final delivery.
• Confident sketching ability (digital and hand), with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to work seamlessly in a close-knit creative environment.
