We are partnering with a luxury fashion brand to appoint a Bookkeeper to join their collaborative Head Office in Mayfair. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and enjoys taking ownership of core transactional finance processes.
The Role
- You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with a key focus on accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Process supplier invoices and manage payment runs
- Issue customer invoices and monitor incoming payments
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage and track company expenses in line with internal processes
- Support wholesale invoicing and payment reconciliation
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and UK financial regulations
- Work across systems including QuickBooks and Shopify (essential), with exposure to Brightpearl ERP advantageous
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, acting as a proactive problem-solver within the finance function
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a bookkeeping or junior accounts role
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Shopify (essential), Brightpearl ERP advantageous
- Solid understanding of UK financial compliance
- Previous experience within the retail, fashion, or creative industries preferred
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
