An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Multi-Product Apparel Designer to join a growing design team, working across a broad range of product categories including jersey, denim, woven and outerwear.
We are looking for a commercially minded designer with a strong understanding of multi-product apparel, who can confidently translate creative direction and inspiration into desirable, commercially successful collections. Alongside exceptional apparel design skills, you will have experience developing graphics for garments, with an understanding of print techniques, fabric development, trims and garment applications.
Reporting to the Head of Design, you will collaborate closely with the wider design and product development teams to deliver innovative seasonal collections from concept through to production. You will be passionate about contemporary fashion, lifestyle trends and consumer behaviour, with a keen eye for emerging trends and an instinct for creating product that resonates with today's customer.
Key Responsibilities- Research seasonal colour palettes, fabrics, trims and key trends, creating inspiring mood boards and design concepts.
- Develop commercially relevant seasonal collections across multiple product categories, taking designs from initial concept through to production.
- Produce detailed CADs, technical drawings and comprehensive tech packs using Adobe Illustrator.
- Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure design intent and key garment details are accurately translated into production.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure critical path deadlines are achieved.
- Continuously monitor the market, competitor activity and emerging fashion, cultural and lifestyle trends to inspire new product ideas.
- Proven experience designing multi-product apparel across categories including jersey, denim, woven and outerwear.
- Strong understanding of contemporary lifestyle fashion, consumer trends and the wider cultural landscape.
- Confident creating both apparel and graphic concepts, with knowledge of print techniques, garment applications, fabric and trim development.
- Degree qualified in Fashion Design or a related discipline (preferred).
- Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a positive, proactive approach.
- Commercially aware, creative and passionate about delivering innovative product that balances trend with commercial performance.
