We have partnered with a fashion brand based in Sussex who requires a Product Developer/Assistant Buyer to support the Product Manager. You will develop fashion, shoes, bags, and soft accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Critical path management
- Execute product that reflects the designer’s vision, and the customers' expectation of the brand.
- Manage our international supplier base.
- Work cross-functionally with merchandising, design, garment technology, marketing production, etc.
- Source fabrics and trims.
- Preempt and find solutions for fit material, product, and make issues that are commercial.
- Evaluate costs, create target costings.
- Manage the fabric and trims library, supporting the development of raw materials and hardware.
- Ensure compliance and consider our sustainability policies within each product decision.
- Liaise daily with factories, suppliers, and agents, managing and maintaining strong personal relationships.
- Competitive shop
- Source and deliver product and trend ideas to the team.
- Create and review tech packs.
- Maintain accurate trackers.
