About Us

Bloom Regulatory is a regulatory consultancy specialising in cosmetic product compliance and regulatory interpretation and advice. Founded in 2019, we are a London-based consultancy (although all team members work from home wherever in the UK they are located) that provides commercially aware regulatory support to businesses marketing cosmetics, food supplements, and beauty accessories. We work in partnership with our clients, offering bespoke solutions tailored to their needs, while maintaining the highest level of integrity in our advice and services.

Our commitment to excellence ensures that we deliver high-quality, pragmatic regulatory solutions based on risk assessment. We promote innovation by staying ahead of regulatory changes and, with the solutions we recommend, encourage forward-thinking approaches to compliance challenges. Our culture is built on kindness—supporting our clients, our colleagues, and the wider industry with patience, respect, and understanding.

How You Will Contribute to What We Do

At Bloom Regulatory, our diverse team is recognised for our expertise in claim substantiation, borderline product knowledge, global compliance, and pragmatic regulatory advice. The Administrator/Advisor will have the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of the regulatory landscape affecting the beauty industry and contribute to high-impact projects.

  • Manage and contribute to a wide variety of projects, including
  • product compliance (compiling PIFs, reviewing labels and formulas, submitting notifications, supporting cosmetovigilance)
  • packaging compliance
  • REACH support, and
  • the development of operating procedures and strategies.
  • Reviewing brand materials (website, advertising, etc.) to ensure they align with regulatory requirements and ethical advertising standards.
  • Provide ad hoc expert regulatory support and advice internally and externally, with a strong focus on integrity and transparency.
  • Approach compliance challenges with an innovative and open mindset, offering creative yet practical solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with both clients and colleagues, embodying our partnership-driven ethos.

To thrive at Bloom, you should embody our core values and demonstrate:

  • A commitment to excellence, with strong attention to detail and high standards in your work.
  • A high level of integrity, ensuring regulatory decisions are guided by ethical principles.

  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and ways of working.
  • A kind and supportive attitude, contributing to a positive work environment and maintaining respectful relationships.

In addition, you should have:

  • An undergraduate degree or higher (courses associated with cosmetics or food are welcomed).
  • Regulatory experience within a cosmetics company (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided).
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks effectively.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IT competency.
