This well-known international firm with a strong global footprint is keen to invest in its private funds practice. It has a superb client base and excellent strength in other areas of funds.
The private funds team is small but has the capacity to grow with one or two partners/a team. The firm’s client base is ideal for a private funds partner to tap into. The firm has a strong and established funds-related client base but doesn’t have the partner/partners to develop all these relationships on the private funds side.
As such, whilst a following is always helpful and ideally desired to show the partner has the ability to develop client relationships, the key is a client-friendly partner with the right skill set. This role might also suit a senior associate with superb client skills and ideally some track record of developing work from clients. A strong set of relationships which have the potential to be developed would be very helpful.
The firm is profitable and highly collegiate, and this is a great opportunity to play a key role in the development of the firm’s private funds practice.
