As a Website Design & Development Project Manager at Bloom, your main priorities will be to co-ordinate multiple projects from beginning to end, to work with our talented team of designers and developers and partners to help craft market-leading websites and software, and to interact with our clients online and also in person in a professional and engaging manner.
The job responsibilities include:
- Work effectively and professionally with our Senior Project Manager with regular check-ins and joined-up communications and co-ordination
- Work efficiently and with a great eye for detail on all projects and support retainers
- Build rapport with clients quickly, mainly online, but also in person
- Act as the client's first point of contact on day-to-day running of your projects
- Anticipate issues or blockers on projects, and providing solutions proactively
- Help to quickly determine clients objectives and needs
- Run meetings and workshops online with clients from different sectors professionally and with conviction
- Develop project plans, co-ordinate and manage project activities with our team and work with our Senior Project Manager to ensure plans are feasible
- Keep clients and our team updated regularly on the status of ongoing projects
- Provide an engaging presence in the agency internally and externally
- Have a good commercial awareness and understanding of the broader activity of the agency
- Join new business initiatives and meetings to contribute ideas and help convert new business opportunities
- Have an awareness for useful products and services aligned to clients objectives to grow accounts and contribute effectively to clients digital output
Essential Characteristics:
- Experience in running meetings and workshops online
- IT expertise - Mac, Google applications (docs, gmail etc), Basecamp (or similar)
Desirable Characteristics:
- Digital Agency Account Management or Project Management Experience - 2 years+
- Wordpress experience (content pov)
- Appreciation and understanding for web design
- Previous full website development project management
- Understanding of website builds
- Interest in new business development and growing accounts
Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills, including timeline management, task prioritization, and resource allocation
- Experience with web design principles, UX/UI design, and web development processes
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
