My client is a leading beauty brand owner with a broad portfolio of stunning brands across various categories.
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Junior Sales and Trade Analyst to support the sales and trade operations teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills, a forward-thinking approach, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and monitor sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed reports on sales performance, customer behaviour, and market trends.
- Utilise advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) to create and automate reports, dashboards, and performance trackers.
- Assist in tracking promotional activities and evaluate their impact on sales and trade performance.
- Support the team in trade forecasting, planning, and inventory management.
- Partner with the finance, marketing, and supply chain teams to support alignment on business goals and sales strategies.
- Assist the Sales and Trade Manager in preparing for key meetings with data insights and performance updates.
- Implement new tools, techniques, and processes to streamline sales tracking and forecasting.
- Contribute to the development of performance dashboards and tools for real-time business monitoring.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field is beneficial
- Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proactive and forward-thinking mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills to present data effectively and work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in sales, trade, or the beauty industry is a plus.
