How to prepare for a job interview at Bloom Careers

✨Research the Brand

Before your interview, take some time to understand the beauty brand's history, values, and product offerings. Familiarise yourself with their cult-like following and what sets them apart in the industry. This knowledge will help you demonstrate your genuine interest and align your answers with their brand ethos.

✨Showcase Your Sales Experience

Be prepared to discuss your previous experience managing accounts, especially with UK high street retailers. Highlight specific examples where you've successfully driven sales or managed trade marketing activities. Use metrics to quantify your achievements, as this will make your contributions more tangible.

✨Excel Skills are Key

Since the role requires intermediate Excel skills, be ready to discuss your proficiency with Vlookups and Pivot tables. If possible, bring examples of how you've used these skills in past roles to analyse data or create reports. This will show that you're not just familiar with the tools but can effectively apply them in a business context.

✨Prepare Questions for Them

Interviews are a two-way street, so prepare insightful questions about the company's growth plans, team dynamics, and expectations for the role. This not only shows your enthusiasm but also helps you assess if the company is the right fit for you. Consider asking about their approach to trade marketing and how they support new retailers.
