National Account Executive
North London (Hybrid)

My client is a leading beauty brand owner. Due to continued growth and success, the opportunity to recruit a National Account Executive has arisen to to help drive growth within key retail and wholesale accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, sales forecasting, and retail operations, particularly within the beauty or FMCG sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national retailers and distributors, ensuring brand visibility and sales growth.
- Assist in the management of product listings, promotions, and category planning for major retail partners.
- Analyse sales trends, monitor category insights, and identify new business opportunities.
- Work closely with supply chain teams to manage stock levels, ensure availability, and support demand planning.
- Support the execution of in-store activations, trade campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives to maximize brand exposure.
- Assist in pricing discussions, promotional planning, and contract management to drive revenue and maximize return on investment.
- Prepare business reviews, presentations, and sales reports for internal teams and key retail partners.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting a Boots national account (new line forms, product listings, category planning etc)
- Exposure to other key UK retail accounts such as Superdrug and Sephora
- Strong background in sales forecasting, market analysis, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, ERP, and CRM platforms, including advanced data functions such as Pivot Tables, VLookups, Macros, and report automation.
- In-depth understanding of retail industry trends, digital sales strategies, and influencer-driven marketing.
- Experience in developing and executing in-store marketing activations and social commerce strategies.
- Solid knowledge of category management, pricing structures, and trade promotion planning.
- Ability to create detailed business reports, performance reviews, and strategic presentations for both internal stakeholders and retail partners.
