Our client is a leading premium beauty brand. Due to continued growth and success, they are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to support forecasting accuracy, inventory optimisation, and product availability across multiple sales channels. This role plays a key part in balancing commercial demand with supply capabilities, using data-led insights to support business performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data, market indicators, promotional activity, and new product introductions.
- Partner with commercial, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure forecasts align with trading plans and business priorities.
- Track sales trends and stock positions to highlight potential risks, shortages, or overstock scenarios.
- Support inventory planning by working closely with procurement and supply teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Assess the impact of campaigns, seasonality, and promotional mechanics on demand patterns.
- Provide input into product lifecycle planning, including introductions, transitions, and discontinuations.
- Apply forecasting models and planning systems to improve accuracy and responsiveness.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards to communicate demand insights to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements within demand planning and forecasting workflows.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain roles within FMCG.
- Advanced Excel capability and experience using NetSuite in a demand planning or supply chain role.
- Experience of being responsible for creating and/or maintaining demand forecasts for multiple SKUs and/or product lines.
- Experience collaborating across commercial, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with consumer demand trends and fast-moving product environments.
- Experience in maintaining optimal inventory levels and/or managing stock across multiple channels.
