About the Company

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Packaging Designer to join a growing international consumer brand business with an exciting portfolio across beauty and personal care.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, creatively led role responsible for shaping packaging and brand design from initial concept through to final delivery. You'll lead design projects across multiple well-known brands, working closely with suppliers, print partners and internal teams in the UK and overseas to bring new products to life on shelf. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of the full creative process, from brand name and identity creation through to packaging artwork, 3D visuals and print-ready production.

Responsibilities

  • Manage design projects from initial concept to final delivery.
  • Interpret design briefs to produce innovative packaging designs.
  • Lead brand name creation and brand identity development across product ranges.
  • Design packaging concepts and artwork, including back of pack.
  • Create and present 3D packaging visuals to stakeholders.
  • Design and produce artwork for product instruction manuals.
  • Write copy for packaging and product instruction manuals.
  • Contribute a degree of product design input where required.
  • Apply strong understanding of print processes to ensure designs are production-ready.
  • Liaise with print and packaging suppliers across the UK and overseas.
  • Source translation services for packaging as needed.
  • Art direct photography for packaging projects.
  • Carry out hi-resolution image retouching.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience leading design projects, ideally within FMCG, agency or retail environments.

Required Skills

  • Strong design flair and an impressive portfolio showcasing FMCG packaging designs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of translating design into print (flexo, litho, gravure).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Confident working under your own initiative to meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of market trends.
  • Genuine passion for packaging design and branding.
