About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Communications Manager to join a renowned international consumer brand business with an exciting portfolio across beauty, personal care and wellness. This is a strategic and commercially focused role responsible for leading communications activity across multiple well‑known brands in the UK and key European markets. You’ll drive brand awareness, market growth and customer engagement through integrated communications strategies spanning social media, PR, influencer marketing and social commerce. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you’ll also manage a small team and external agency partners to deliver best‑in‑class campaigns that support both brand and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications Strategy
    • Develop and implement multi‑market communications strategies aligned to brand and commercial goals.
    • Define KPIs across PR, influencer, social media and campaign performance.
    • Identify market trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities.
    • Ensure consistency of messaging and brand identity across all territories.
  • Social Media & Social Commerce
    • Own the strategic direction of social media channels across the UK and Europe (organic and paid).
    • Lead performance improvements through insight‑led optimisation.
    • Oversee content planning, approval and delivery across multiple brands.
  • PR & Influencer
    • Lead European PR and influencer strategies across priority markets.
    • Manage agencies to deliver impactful campaigns with measurable ROI.
    • Ensure strong integration between PR and social activity.
    • Support crisis communications planning where required.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    • Manage and develop a small internal communications team.
    • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, distributors and retail partners.
    • Present plans, updates and results to internal leadership teams.
    • Collaborate with UK, European and international brand teams.
  • Budget & Performance
    • Manage budgets across territories, ensuring effective investment.
    • Oversee campaign reporting and translate data into strategic recommendations.
    • Deliver monthly and quarterly updates to stakeholders.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in communications, PR, social media or brand marketing.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong experience managing agencies and multi‑channel campaigns.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to connect marketing activity to sales growth.
  • Confident presenter with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and data‑driven mindset.
  • Experience across European markets highly desirable.
  • Additional European language skills (German or French) advantageous.
