We are currently recruiting for a Head of Brand Marketing role in our rapidly expanding start-up based in Notting Hill, London. bloobloom was created to change the way people buy their glasses by rebuilding the entire experience. In a market populated by dinosaurs, we’re putting design and technology back at the heart of the process of buying a pair of glasses, making the journey fun and exciting without costing a small fortune. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the senior team to define our global brand marketing strategy
  • Leading and owning bloobloom’s brand vision and positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels
  • Developing and executing high-impact brand campaigns, driving awareness, engagement, and loyalty
  • Experiential marketing: concept and manage seasonal and in-store events including workshops, Q&As, branded partnerships, charity/community events, new store openings, store anniversaries and monthly themed events
  • Creating frameworks to evaluate campaign performance, focusing on outcomes and ROI
  • Coordinate the proper execution of marketing campaigns by closely leading internal and external teams
  • Overseeing bloobloom’s social media presence across all platforms, ensuring a cohesive brand voice and impactful engagement strategies
  • Developing and implementing strategies for user-generated content (UGC), influencer partnerships and brand partnerships to amplify the brand’s reach and authenticity
  • Driving community-building initiatives to create deeper emotional connections with bloobloom’s audience
  • Develop effective resources, tools and processes to execute marketing activity
  • Help develop the brand and ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints
  • Maintain excellent industry knowledge, bringing a deep understanding of both our customers and competitors
  • Build and develop a talented and successful digital marketing team
  • Work as part of the senior team to drive growth and profitability across the business

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience leading highly engaging consumer brands, with extensive experience in the fashion industry
  • Demonstrated success managing and scaling social media and community engagement strategies
  • Expertise in brand-building, positioning, and storytelling
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for engaging audiences
  • Customer-obsessed with a passion for delivering exceptional brand and social media experiences
  • Hands-on, outcome-oriented and data-driven mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including recruiting, managing and developing staff
  • Experience interacting with board-level stakeholders
