A position has become available for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner / Room Leader at our clients day nursery in Edinburgh. This is an outstanding nursery setting which is part of an independent nursery group that has an excellent reputation for its childcare provision and promotes an open, friendly and supportive environment for its practitioners.
Position Details
Your role:
- Supporting children's development through the provision of safe, stimulating child-centred learning and play
- Delivering activities to support and extend children's learning and development outcomes
- Monitoring, assessing and recording children's progress
- Planning and delivering next steps to support children's development
What you will need:
- An NNEB, CACHE, EYT or an equivalent Nursery Practitioner / Teaching qualification
- An understanding of the EYFS, planning and assessment procedures
- An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
