A position has become available for a Nursery Manager at a private children's day nursery in Wimbledon. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 18 months nursery management experience, possessing strong management and leadership skills, as well as a sound working knowledge of Ofsted standards and the EYFS framework.

Position Details

  • Overseeing the planning and development of the nursery setting
  • Promoting a safe, caring, stimulating environment
  • Supporting and promoting the provision of outstanding childcare
  • Supporting staff development
  • Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery

You will ideally have:

  • Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare such as EYE, NVQ, NNEB, CACHE or recognised equivalent
  • Minimum 18 months nursery management experience
  • Up to date knowledge of EYFS framework and regulations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements
  • Ability to identify priorities and meet outcomes
