Nursery Practitioner
We are working with an independent day nursery who are currently looking for a Nursery Assistant/Nursery Practitioner for their nursery setting in Hove.
The successful candidate will need to hold a level 2/3, CACHE, EYE or recognised equivalent childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months nursery setting experience, being able to demonstrate a clear understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices.
Nursery Practitioner – Position Details
Your role will include:
- Supporting and extending children’s learning, development and educational outcomes
- Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation and provision of activities
- Carrying out observations and evaluations
- Planning and providing next steps to support children’s development
You will ideally have:
- A level 2 or level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioners qualification
- An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems
- An understanding of health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
