A private day nursery in Stratford is currently recruiting for a level 2 or level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner. The successful candidate will need to hold EYE, NVQ or a recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare qualification. You will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months Early Years setting experience, demonstrating a sound understanding of both the Early Years Foundation Stage and key worker practices.

Position Details

Your role:

  • Working as part of a team promoting an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop.
  • Planning and delivering activities to extend and support children’s development and learning outcomes.
  • Carrying out observations, evaluating, and recording children’s progress.
  • Planning and implementing next steps to support children’s development.

What you will need:

  • An NNEB, CACHE, EYT or an equivalent Early Years Practitioners/Teaching qualification.
  • An understanding of the EYFS, planning and assessment procedures.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
