Early Years Practitioner We are working with an independent day nursery who are currently looking for a Early Years Practitioner for their nursery setting in Glasgow. The successful candidate will need to hold a level 2/3, CACHE, EYE or recognised equivalent childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months nursery setting experience, being able to demonstrate a clear understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices. Early Years Practitioner – Position Details Your role will include: Supporting and extending childrens learning, development and educational outcomes Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation and provision of activities Carrying out observations and evaluations Planning and providing next steps to support childrens development What you will need: A level 2 or level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioners qualification An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems An understanding of planning, observing and record-keeping procedures Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills What you can expect: Guidance and support to develop in your childcare career A starting salary of £13.00 – £14.25, negotiable depending on level A range of employee benefits Free DBS and renewal Generous holiday allowance To apply to this Early Years Practitioner position please submit your CV using the apply link.
