Location: Witham - Salary: £14 P/H - Full-Time - About the role You will be working in an outside yard with a team picking orders, processing hire returns, unloading/loading vehicles with FLT and general housekeeping of the yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking stock for Customers orders to the correct quantity and quality then banding or wrapping securely for safe transportation.
- Processing collection stock on return and completing damage reports accurately.
- Ensuring that all set targets from Manager/Supervisor are met efficiently.
- Operate a forklift truck or lorry loader (only if externally trained, certificated and authorised to do so)
- Ensure that all vehicles are correctly and safely loaded/unloaded and the drivers are satisfied with the load.
- Keep the yard tidy and organised, returning any unpicked stock to their own locations.
- Adhere to Company health and safety policies and always use correct PPE.
- Ensure that all employees carry out their duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures and current legislation and risk assessments.
- Ensure that the integrity and image of the Company is always maintained.

- Commitment to health and safety procedures and the correct use of PPE
- Ability to work efficiently and meet targets
Desirable
- External training, certification and authorisation to operate a forklift truck or lorry loader
- Experience in a yard, warehouse or similar environment
