Trainee Building Surveyor

Are you someone who knows how a building is put together and has an eye for defects?\\n\\nAre you looking to move into a new industry or forge a new career?\\n\\nIf so, our client is a highly experienced, independent, practice of Chartered Surveyors & Engineers and they are looking for a new trainee building surveyor to join them from a construction/building service background.\\n\\nThey are looking for someone who enjoys learning and takes a keen interest in their career and is looking to build and grow within a new industry.\\n\\nThe ideal candidate will have 10 years’ experience within either the construction or property industry and will already have an understanding of potential issues that can occur in both residential and commercial buildings that may affect its condition.\\n\\nTraining and support supplied but there will be an element of learning and reading articles and work processes when producing your reports and offering advice.\\n\\nNecessary requirements and attributes for the successful candidate:\\n\\n * Ability to build and manage relationships with clients and customers.\\n\\n * Presentable, client facing, and keen to learn and grow.\\n\\n * Competent with Technology, Microsoft, Excel.\\n\\n * Strong communicator, both verbally & in writing\\n\\n * Self-motivated to deliver.\\n\\n * A Good work ethic and self-motivation\\n\\n * Systematic and thorough.\\n\\nIn Return:\\n\\n * Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00\\n\\n * Appointments Mon to Thurs and admin and reports carried out from home on Fridays.\\n\\n * Overtime available on Saturdays\\n\\n * Permanent Position\\n\\n * Training Salary £42,000 (Not including overtime)\\n\\n * After 2 years the expected salary would be £50,000 (Not including overtime)\\n\\nPlease apply with a Cv, and we will call you to discuss and answer any questions
