Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for a Mechanical Site Supervisor ideally possessing an associated trade qualification (M&E, pipe welding/fitting, building services, HVAC, groundworks / civil works). Your role will be to visit/supervise multiple construction sites around the UK and liaise with site personnel, Project Managers, and client representatives to deliver successful installations smoothly, on time and within a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with contract team regarding current projects and status.
- Liaise with site teams to check/monitor Health & Safety Compliance.
- Carrying out site toolbox talks, & mentor installers.
- Participating in H&S meetings and site audits to ensure team working to client RAMS.
- Attend site meetings to assist contracts team.
- Communication between site teams and office.
- Assisting with Plant Hires/Off Hires, Deliveries & site clearances.
- Monitoring/Checking Installer Plant & Tool certifications, & PPE suitability.
- Conduct site surveys as directed by the Contracts Team.
- Commissioning duties to completed installations.
- Alarm Wire Surveys as directed by Contracts Team.
Required Skills / Experience
- SSSTS / SMSTS / CSCS / ISOH.
- CPCS Lift Supervisor.
- Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
