Blocktech MEP are looking on behalf of their client for a Multi trader with carpentry experience for a 3-month contract with potential to extend.
The role will be to assist the company in maintenance activities across both residential and commercial properties.
As well as maintenance repair work the company also carry out full refurbishments including new kitchens, new bathrooms, and general painting and decorating.
Although this is currently a contract, they are looking for someone to be part of the team and hopefully build longer term working relationships.
General Duties of the role
- Carry out minor repairs on tenanted properties both within a small team and on your own.
- Fit new kitchens and appliances
- Assist with deliveries, key collection, and labour.
- Provide support to other tradespersons, occasionally outside main area of expertise.
- Assist the client with commercial work on Hospitals, Colleges, and various sites in London. Necessary requirements or attributes:
- Own Van or vehicle to travel to and from work locations.
- A full UK driving licence
- A minimum of a Labourer CSCS card or the willingness to take the half day to get one.
- The ability to pass a basic DBS check maybe required for the Hospital work.
- A good work ethic and the ability to work in a friendly professional manner.
- The ability to converse professionally with client and tenants when required. In Return:
- 3 Month Contract (With extensions)
- 8-hour days with half hour lunch.
- Usual hours 07.30am to 16:00
- Overtime available
- £200 per day for local southeast work
