Entry-Level Sound Recordist, Music Video
We're looking for an entry-level Sound Recordist for a dynamic music video shoot in London, UK, around November 12-13, 2026. This is a small independent production, a high-energy electronic pop track with a slightly surreal, dreamlike visual tone. The video features a single artist performing in various stylized locations, requiring clean, isolated vocals and a few specific on-set sound effects to be captured. While much of the sound will be built in post, your role is crucial for capturing essential elements that cannot be replicated. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating on-set audio recording equipment, placing microphones discreetly, monitoring audio levels, and ensuring all recorded dialogue and effects are clean and free of ambient noise. You'll be working closely with a small, collaborative crew. This is a 1-2 day shoot, paid at $150-300 per day. You will need to provide your own basic sound kit (e.g., portable recorder, boom mic, lavalier mics, headphones). Please have some prior experience, even from student films or smaller projects, and be ready to share a reel or examples of your previous work. We value enthusiasm and a proactive attitude. Food and travel within London will be covered.
