WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Commercial Negotiation: Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements supporting the company’s products, partnerships, and activities across multiple business lines.
- Product Development: Collaborate with business and product teams to aid the development and introduction of new products and services.
- Regulatory Advice and Licensing: Provide practical and commercially focused recommendations concerning financial services regulation within the UK, EU, and other international regions, including licensing and regulatory engagement.
- Corporate Governance: Assist with corporate governance matters and other general legal issues as they arise.
- Trading and Capital Markets: Deliver outstanding legal assistance across key capital markets functions, encompassing prime brokerage, execution platforms, and traded products.
- Financial Services and Digital Assets: Provide legal support for various financial services and digital asset activities, including cross-border payments, stablecoin issuance, and custodial solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
- 5 - 8 years' PQE with a background in capital markets, traded products, and/or prime brokerage.
- Knowledge of financial services, traded products, and capital markets is essential.
- Familiarity with digital assets is preferred.
- A solid grasp of UK and EU financial services regulation is required.
- Professional Background: Experience gained either in-house at a financial institution or within a top-tier private practice.
- Communication: Ability to present sophisticated issues clearly and concisely and provide succinct and practical legal advice.
