We are seeking a highly motivated Trading Analyst to join our dynamic team in our London office, supporting a 24‐7 cryptocurrency trading desk, with a focus on Korean markets. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact within our fast‐growing and innovative organization.
What you will do
- Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and economic data in Korea and Asian markets to identify trading opportunities and content for research reports.
- Assist traders in the execution, booking and reporting of trades.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of trading and hedging strategies and market conditions.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve trading, booking and settlement processes and systems.
- Assist in the management of trading risk and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with industry developments and emerging market trends.
What you will need
- Native Korean language skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced, high‐pressure environment.
- Keen interest in financial markets and trading.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client‐focused approach to trading.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, make quick decisions and handle high volumes of transactions.
- A keen interest in staying updated with trends and news in the fast‐paced world of cryptocurrencies (prior personal experience is a plus).
